1. Introduction and Acceptance

Welcome to TallyMyCash (package ID: com.addas.tallymycash), operated by ThinkingLevel ("we", "us", or "our"). These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of the TallyMyCash Android mobile application and our website at https://addas.thinkinglevel.com/tallymycash/.

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using TallyMyCash, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the application.

2. Description of the Application

TallyMyCash is a business bookkeeping, cash counting, and financial utility application built for shop owners, retailers, wholesalers, distributors, agencies, and bankers. Depending on whether you use the Free or Pro tier, features include:

  • Core Free Tools: Tally Cash (denomination counter, bundle calculator, teller balance comparison), History, Today's Report, GST Calculator, Bank Holidays calendar, WhatsApp Chatter, Business Profile configuration, 9 Indian languages, and restoring or deleting existing cloud backups.
  • TallyMyCash Pro Modules: Debit/Credit Khata, Cashbook, All Transactions Passbook, Loanbook, Sales & Purchase Bills, Repayments & Bulk Adjustment, Due Reminders, Stock Inventory & Stock Statement, Income & Expense, Bank Accounts, Agency Collection, Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss, Business Insights, Vault Register, Multi Cashiers, ATM EOD Reconciliation, Soiled Notes, 27+ Financial Calculators, MF Goalie, Split Expense, Link Person/Shop within Tally Cash, and Cloud Backup creation.

3. User Accounts and Optional Sign-In

You may use TallyMyCash's local on-device features without signing in by selecting "Skip for now" at startup. Signing in with a valid Google account (via Android Credential Manager and Firebase Authentication) is required when using cloud-connected features, specifically:

  • Creating or restoring a Cloud Backup, or deleting online backup data
  • Purchasing, linking, or verifying a TallyMyCash Pro subscription
  • Using Agency Collection multi-user cloud synchronization (Super Agent and Collection Agent workflows)
  • Participating in the Refer & Earn program

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Google account and device.

4. TallyMyCash Pro Subscriptions and Billing

TallyMyCash offers optional auto-renewing Pro subscriptions processed exclusively through Google Play Billing:

  • Plans & Pricing: Monthly Plan (₹20/month) and Yearly Plan (₹200/year). Current pricing is displayed in the app prior to purchase.
  • Free Trial: Eligible new subscribers receive a 1-month (30-day) free trial as determined by Google Play. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your selected subscription plan will begin and charge automatically.
  • Account-Bound Entitlement: A TallyMyCash Pro subscription is bound to the specific TallyMyCash Google account signed in at the time of purchase or linking. A single Google Play subscription cannot be shared simultaneously across multiple distinct TallyMyCash accounts.
  • Auto-Renewal & Cancellation: Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the current billing period expires. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through Google Play Store → Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → TallyMyCash, and your Pro access continues until the end of the current billing period.
  • Changing Plans: To switch between Monthly and Yearly plans, cancel your current subscription in Google Play Store, wait for it to expire at the end of the current billing period, and then subscribe to the new plan.
  • Access to Data After Expiration: If your Pro subscription expires or is cancelled, your local data remains on your device and is never deleted by the app. Restoring an existing cloud backup also remains free.

5. Referral Program Terms

TallyMyCash includes an optional in-app referral program ("Refer") subject to the following rules:

  • Each eligible new user may redeem a valid referral code only once, and only one successful redemption is permitted per physical device.
  • You may not redeem your own referral code or use secondary accounts on the same device to generate referrals.
  • Referral rewards are granted only after explicit confirmation ("Redeem" or "Claim") with an active internet connection and signed-in account, and are verified using device integrity and install-referrer signals.
  • Referral rewards have no cash value, are non-transferable, and are not recurring subscriptions.

6. Agency Collection Multi-User Workflows

When using the Agency Collection feature, Super Agents (Owners) can invite Collection Agents using a 6-digit invitation code and mobile number. Super Agents are solely responsible for managing agent invitations, revoking access when an agent leaves, and verifying or rejecting collection, deposit, handover, and transfer reports before relying on them for settlement.

7. Bookkeeping, Tax, and Financial Calculator Disclaimer

TallyMyCash is a calculation and record-keeping tool designed to assist you in organizing your daily business and cash operations. It does not constitute professional accounting, tax, audit, investment, or legal advice.

  • You are solely responsible for verifying the accuracy of your bills, discounts, additional charges, stock valuations, khata balances, Profit & Loss statements, and Balance Sheets before using them for tax filings, audits, or commercial settlements.
  • Results produced by the GST Calculator and the 27+ Financial Calculators (including EMI, SIP, FD, RD, PPF, EPF, NPS, SCSS, MIS, HRA, Gratuity, and What-If calculations) are mathematical estimates based on user inputs. Actual bank, post office, or mutual fund figures may vary due to institution-specific compounding, booking dates, rounding rules, or regulatory changes.

8. Data Storage, Backups, and Availability

By default, your business records are stored locally on your Android device. For safety against device loss or damage, Pro users can manually back up their data to our cloud servers using the in-app Back Up feature, or export reports to PDF and Excel. While we take reasonable technical measures to maintain cloud backup and sync availability, we do not guarantee uninterrupted uptime and recommend keeping regular local or exported backups of critical business records.

9. Intellectual Property

The TallyMyCash name, logo, user interface, graphics, and underlying software code are the intellectual property of ThinkingLevel and are protected under applicable copyright and trademark laws. You are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app for your legitimate business or personal cash-management operations. You retain full ownership of the business data, contacts, bills, and attachments you enter into the app.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, TallyMyCash and ThinkingLevel provide the application and website on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, and shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or financial losses arising from calculation errors, user input mistakes, device failure, unbacked-up local data loss, or third-party service interruptions.
